Getting Baby to Sleep

Establish a Routine

Create a consistent bedtime routine with calming activities (e.g., bath, feeding, lullaby).

Set the Environment

Ensure the room is dark, quiet, and comfortably cool (68–72°F). Use white noise if needed.

Put Baby Down Drowsy

Place your baby in their crib when they’re drowsy but awake to help them learn to fall asleep independently.

Try Feeding Before Bedtime

Offer a feeding before bed to ensure your baby isn’t hungry during the night.

Be Patient and Consistent

It may take time for your baby to adjust to a new sleep routine. Stay consistent and respond calmly to nighttime awakenings.
